The Village Craftsman is a family owned and operated business serving the western suburbs and Twin Cities area. With 40 years of experience at "repairs neatly done," David Anderson (owner) is a third generation carpenter, remodeler and handyman. His quality craftsmanship has been handed down from grandfather to father to son. In fact, the Anderson family has been in the construction and home repair business since the early 1920's in the Twin Cities.
David was born and raised in Excelsior, Minnesota and graduated from Minnetonka Senior High School. Even then he enjoyed working his craft on sets for plays for the high school theater productions. After high school, he went to work for his father learning every aspect of home construction and repair.
Now a 20-year member of the NFIB (National Federation of Independent Businesses), all Village Craftsmen Home Repair Incorporated employees are driven by David's attention-to-detail, knowledge and experience. In fact, some of them have 10 years or more of experience as well. From screwing in a light bulb to the most complicated remodeling work, Village Craftsman Home Repair Incorporated is capable of completing any home repair.
Our employees are courteous and knowledgeable, and will leave your home as clean as they found it. After the work is done, someone will inspect the job to ensure everything is done to your satisfaction. Over two-thirds of our business is homeowners who were very pleased with the quality of our work and decided to trust us in tackling their next project. The other third of our customers are referrals from current customers.
